New Sun Korea factory up and running
After just eleven months since breaking ground in Incheon, South Korea, Sun Hydraulics has completed the construction of a new
50,000-square-foot factory, where manufacturing, engineering and technical sales will be positioned to support a growing Asia-Pacific market.
Watch the new factory come to life in Incheon in this time-lapsed video.
With an added 20,000 square feet from the previous factory, our goal is to meet the increasing demand for our valves, manifolds and integrated packages. Adding engineering and technical applications teams reinforces our need for support in the region, and overall, our growth objective.
The new facility serves South Korea, China, Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia. Expanded manufacturing capabilities, paired with a knowledgeable support team will also allow for new product development and approach to new market segments in these regions.
The new Sun Korea plant is a great achievement for the entire Sun global family. The Sun Korea team put forth diligence and hard work to complete this project in a short window, while still meeting ongoing customer demands. We commend all teams involved and look forward to the future success of the location.
